July has been a report that TSMC has begun production of a new path of Apple CPU A6. The current Apple A5 makes the Samsung CPU. Taiwan Economic News reported today (via 9to5Mac) the same information. TSMC's process uses the latest 28nm and 3D stacking technology to Apple CPU A6.
The total production of the UC A6 is scheduled for 1 quarter of 2012. The IPAD first iPhones and managed by A6 expected in the second quarter of 2012.
TSMC now has the ability to actually produce enough processors for Apple. This could boost production of Apple Samsung CPU. It could also be the case that Samsung will also make processors A6. Apple has more of the components used in iPhones and iPads various manufacturers.
It is a wise move, since a recent report on the problems of quality in the production of LG seems to show the iPad.
