BMW Leipzig Plant by The Wind Energy

German auto giant BMW has plans to build four wind turbines to run a factory with enough electricity to collect hundreds of vehicles a day, the report will automatically log Automobil Woche Monday.The the wind farm should be able to produce energy at the end of 2013, the company said.

BMW said it wants its plant in Leipzig to become an example of green energy production, which could be followed in the assembly plants worldwide.

The Leipzig plant is expected to produce about 200,000 cars in 2011 with a rate of 740 per day.
