Skype said on Monday it plans to buy GroupM, which provides a group text message and call. Private Skype did not say how much it costs.
Luxembourg-based Skype was founded in 2003, primarily as a way to make phone calls over the Internet. It now seems to reach people on different platforms, and has recently introduced a group of video and bought a mobile connection with a video called Qik. GroupM established last year at the rally TechCrunch Disrupt the hackathon.
Skype is itself being bought by Microsoft for $ 8.5 billion. The agreement was announced in May, and the companies expect to close late this year
